Midwifery Care

At Waverley Private Hospital, every family is special. Our dedicated maternity team works closely with you and your obstetrician to ensure the safe delivery of your baby, while respecting your physical and emotional needs.

Our personalised maternity care model allows you to build a meaningful partnership with our midwives, ensuring you have the best birthing and parenting experience possible. From early pregnancy, our caring staff are here to answer your questions and support you throughout your journey.

We offer a comprehensive antenatal program, covering labour, childbirth, breastfeeding, and early parenting. During labour, a skilled midwife will provide individualised care, attending to your needs throughout childbirth and the immediate postnatal period.

Our team includes lactation consultants, neonatal nurses, and staff with specialised parenting skills. During your stay, we provide 24/7 postnatal support to help you gain confidence in caring for your newborn. Even after you leave, our midwives are just a phone call away, offering advice and links to community resources through our 24-hour Maternity Support Line.

Maternity Guidance

Throughout your pregnancy, Maternity Liaison Officer Sisly Wang will be your point of contact with general information to support you and your family on your journey into parenthood. She can assist you with any questions you may have about your hospital stay with us and in addition can provide you with information about our Maternity Tours, Childbirth and Parenting programs and other support services that we can offer you.

She is also multilingual and able to speak fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.
