You won’t be rushed home after the birth of your baby. You can expect to stay in our care and enjoy 24-hour nursing support for 3-4 nights following a vaginal birth or 4-5 nights following a caesarean.

We understand what a special time in your life this is, and we want to ensure you get to enjoy the experience as a family. Partners are welcome in the Maternity Ward at any time of the day or night.

Sleeping arrangements within the suite are available should partners wish to stay the night for which there is no additional fee.

Our maternity patients have the option of choosing from our a` la carte menu. Meals can also be ordered for partners at a small additional cost.

Our hotel services team can assist you with menu choices and any special requests. If you have special dietary needs they can be easily arranged following admission.

Indulge in our special afternoon tea service and cake trolley which perfectly complements our a` la carte menu.

Family and friends are welcome to visit the Maternity Ward during designated visiting hours and are asked to be considerate to new mothers and babies. Partners may visit any time.

Visiting hours are: 3.00 pm until 8.00 pm.

Waverley Private Hospital has an onsite cafe in the entrance to the hospital. Here new mums, family and friends can meet and enjoy light meals, snacks and a coffee in friendly, relaxed surroundings.

Monday to Friday 7.00am to 2.30pm

The Waverley Private Hospital Early Parenting Centre provides specialised support and care to families experiencing postnatal difficulties in the weeks and months following the arrival of a new baby, up to twenty four months of age. These difficulties may include: Feeding difficulties, Infant sleeping problems, Unsettled / irritable infants, Reflux and colic, Adjusting to parenthood.
