In this free online information session, you will learn how to develop great sleep patterns, from your baby's first few weeks through to two years of age. The session will cover age appropriate guidelines, routines and settling techniques, so you are well-equipped to manage one of the most common parenting challenges – sleep!

You'll hear from Paediatrican Dr Gideon Lurie, and Nursing Unit Manager Libby Crosby. 

The Early Parenting Centre at Waverley Private Hospital provides postnatal support to families with children aged between 28 days and two years old. The centre offers a five night, six day program for infant and one parent, providing personalised assistance with common challenges such as sleep and settling, feeding difficulties, maternal exhaustion and adjusting to parenting.

Dr Gideon Lurie

Dr Gideon Lurie is an Australian trained paediatrician with extensive experience in both general medicine and developmental paediatrics. Gideon graduated from Monash University in 1999 before undertaking paediatric training through the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre.

Dr Mei Cheah

Dr Mei Cheah is a skilled female specialist obstetrician, gynaecologist, laparoscopic surgeon and fertility specialist practising in Melbourne. Her warm and friendly nature puts patients at ease, especially during vulnerable times. She prides herself on listening to her patients, respecting their choices, and her extensive training allows her to provide a range of treatment and management options tailored to every individual. She is multilingual and speaks English, Malay, Cantonese and Mandarin.


Dr Haider Najjar

Dr Haider Najjar is an Obstetrician Gynaecologist who graduated in Medicine in 1992. He completed Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at Monash Medical Centre, where he also went on to complete a Fellowship in advanced Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive surgery. 

As a principle Fertility Specialist at Melbourne IVF for over a decade, he understands the complexities of infertility and provides an individualised approach to his care and management for his patients. His major forte of expertise in surgical management of infertility includes advanced laparoscopic surgery and management of endometriosis and fibroids.
