Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Mr Vikram David an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in the management of shoulder/elbow and wrist problems as well as general orthopaedic trauma and fractures.
Vikram completed his orthopaedic training in Victoria, gaining his Orthopaedic Fellowship in 2016. He then worked as a trauma fellow and subsequently went on to complete his subspecialty training gaining a fellowship in upper limb surgery in Geelong, followed by a fellowship in shoulder surgery at the prestigious Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
Vikram holds public appointments Dandenong, Moorabbin, and Box Hill Hospitals. He also is actively involved in orthopaedic research and has published many papers and written chapters in orthopaedic books. He is involved in training for orthopaedic surgeons at various public hospitals.
Vikram always believes and is committed to delivering the best for patient care and putting patient needs first.
Vikram is able to accommodate early consultations for urgent referrals and endeavours to see all referrals within 2 weeks.
He has regular theatre sessions at Waverley Private and is able to accommodate urgent appointments.
