Sally is devoted to not only providing best care for her own patients, Sally also strongly supports her surgical collegiate and the training of upcoming surgical trainees.

Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Sally Ng a fully qualified, Melbourne trained specialist plastic surgeon, who lives by her philosophy of patient-centred care. She is a member of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, as well as an international member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Sally completed her bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBS) with honours at Monash University in 2005 and underwent training with all of Melbourne’s leading major public hospital plastic surgery units. Since being awarded her Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, Sally has completed additional subspecialty reconstructive microsurgery training at the Ninth People’s Hospital in Shanghai and at the Reconstructive Microsurgery European School.

Sally holds a portfolio of specialist plastic surgeon positions at multiple major hospital networks including Austin Health, Eastern Health, and Western Health, with a keen subspecialty interest in cancer and traumatic reconstructive surgery. She is an active member in the breast, head and neck, complex skin malignancy and melanoma services in her public appointments. Sally sees reconstructive surgery as an integral component in cancer treatment and she will assist each of her patients to formulate a personalised and informed reconstructive plan.

Devoted to not only providing best care for her own patients, Sally is also a leading role model and mentor for upcoming plastic surgery trainees. She is the plastic surgery training program supervisor at a major Melbourne public hospital network, and a qualified instructor for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons surgical skills and trauma management courses. She has authored multiple international peer reviewed journal publications to improve quality of care and surgical standards. Sally also has extensive leadership experience in various professional and community-based organisations.
