Warwick prides himself on providing individualised care with attention to detail. Patient and family focused care is at the forefront of his practice as well as clinical excellence aimed at best patient outcomes.

Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Mr Warwick Wright, an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in managing conditions of the upper limb including the hand. He has particular experience in managing shoulder arthritis and rotator cuff disease. Warwick also has a special interest in managing instability of the shoulder in the younger individuals. In the hand he has developed new techniques of treating basal arthritis of the thumb.

Warwick continues active research in shoulder arthritis management options including the development of cutting-edge technologies which prolong the functional lifespan of shoulder prostheses. He has ongoing and published work in hand anatomy and hand arthritis surgery.

Warwick is involved in teaching at undergraduate, post graduate and senior consultant level both locally and internationally.

Currently Warwick has appointments at Monash Health, Moorabbin campus and is Honorary Senior Lecturer at Monash University, Gippsland Campus.

Outside his medical practise he enjoys skiing, fishing, art, music, and growing truffles in the Otway Ranges. He supports the St Pauls Anglican School in Balbalasang, Northern Philippines.
