Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Anik (Nik) Saha, a highly skilled and experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon. His path has been paved with academic rigor with a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours (University of Melbourne) and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with Honours (Monash University), followed by a Master of Surgery (University of Sydney), stand as testaments to his dedication to surgical mastery. He subsequently completed his specialty training across hospitals in Victoria.
His areas of interest include dentoalveolar surgery (extending to bone grafting from local and distant sites such as the hip), trauma, implantology (dental, zygomatic, and craniofacial implants), orthognathic and temporomandibular joint surgery. He is currently pursuing an advanced fellowship in endoscopic and minimally invasive open TMJ surgery in Sydney, which is a novel technique for treating TMJ disorders with arthroscopes and custom-made 3D prosthesis for complete joint replacements in advanced disease.
Nik is passionate about learning and research. He is well published and is currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor degree, where he explores the complex and dynamic aspects of healthcare law.
Besides his private practice, Nik is a consultant surgeon at Monash Health.
