Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Naz who completed his medical degree at Monash University in 2007, and later entered specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology under the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in 2013, training through Monash Health and Eastern Health networks. He achieved Fellowship status (FRANZCOG) in the specialty in 2019, with a particular interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic gynaecological surgery.
He also serves in public hospital roles (for example at Dandenong Hospital) and contributes to teaching of medical students at Monash University.
Clinical Interests & Expertise
Dr Naz’s practice spans fertility medicine, gynaecology, and obstetrics. His key areas of interest and expertise include:
- Fertility & IVF / reproductive medicine, with involvement in tailored fertility treatments and IVF care
- Gynaecology & minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic procedures, abnormal cervical screening, and management of menstrual or pelvic pain disorders
- General & high-risk obstetrics, including antenatal care, birth planning, and management of complex pregnancies
- Pre-pregnancy counselling, early pregnancy care, postnatal care and procedural gynaecology within the clinic setting
He embraces an individualised approach – recognising that each patient’s reproductive journey is unique, and tailoring care and management accordingly
He is also proficient in multiple languages, fluent in Malay and conversant in Indonesian, which helps him provide culturally sensitive care to a broader patient base
