Aviva is an experienced specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist. She is empathetic, compassionate and believes in providing high quality and personalised care to women.

Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Aviva Nathan a specialist female obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 20 years’ experience in her field.

Aviva completed her medical degree in 1997 at Monash University, Melbourne. Her specialty training was completed in 2008, obtaining her fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Aviva maintains an active interest in teaching and is involved in the training and examining of medical students and doctors specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Antenatal care and delivery

Aviva sees patients at the main consulting rooms in Caulfield, and delivery at Waverley Private Hospital. Patients have the support of two experienced midwives at the rooms. Weekends are shared on call with an all-female group for obstetric patients.

IUD insertion (if suitable) can be performed in the rooms and gynaecology operating at Waverley's sister hospital, Masada Private Hospital for patients with private health insurance.
