Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Anne Tan who studied medicine at Flinders University (South Australia) and obtained her post graduate qualifications in 2003 with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (United Kingdom).

Anne worked as an obstetrician and gynaecologist in Malaysia for 5 years and then returned to Australia and was recognised as a fellow of the RANZCOG in 2010.

Whilst in Malaysia, Anne enjoyed working in a multicultural society and is very comfortable interacting with women and their partners from various cultural backgrounds. Anne is multilingual, and can consult in other languages other than English, including Malay, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Teochew.

She is interested in educating patients in managing their health and focuses on providing clear explanations and advice about their pregnancy or gynaecological problems and subsequent management.

Anne provides a full range of obstetric and gynaecological services including:

  • General obstetrics – pre-pregnancy counselling, antenatal care, and delivery
  • Menstrual problems
  • Infertility and endometriosis
  • Management of Abnormal Pap Smear
  • Pelvic pain
  • Polycystic ovary syndrome
  • Contraception

  • Colposcopy
  • Laparoscopy /minimally invasive surgery
