Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Mr Alexios Adamides a Neurosurgeon. Alex is part of the Neuroaxis group and has established his practice to cover the south-eastern suburbs.

Alex completed his medical studies in the United Kingdom in 2000 before undertaking his neurosurgical training in Australia. He became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012 and has been practicing as a consultant neurosurgeon at the Royal Melbourne Hospital for over 5 years. With a passion for microsurgery and complex cases he underwent further sub-specialty training in cerebrovascular neurosurgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and attended numerous special skills courses with experts around the world. He was the first to complete a specialised Royal College accredited cerebrovascular surgery fellowship in Victoria. With dedication to research, Alex was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree by Monash University in 2009, is an honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Melbourne University and is a reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Neuroscience. He has published award winning research and his quest for knowledge allows him to provide the best care for his patients.

Alex utilises techniques that are minimally invasive and designed to prevent complications. He operates with precision, dedication, and above all, compassion.
