Dr Charles Su is an eye specialist and surgeon who has been in private practice since 1996.

His practice includes general eye conditions such as cataract surgery, as well as his special area of expertise - surgery of the eyelids, tear ducts and orbit.

He offers the latest in surgical techniques including endoscopic tear duct surgery without a skin cut or scar.

Dr Su is a consultant at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. His education and training was obtained at the University of Melbourne and the University of Michigan (USA).

He is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and the Australasian College of Surgeons, as well as a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Australian and New Zealand Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeons.

He has received the Medal of Excellence from the Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists for his qualification examinations in 1994, and an Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology for his regular teaching there for more than 10 years.

Dr Su has published contributions to the Australian Medical Journal, Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology, Archives of Ophthalmology (USA), Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (USA), and has presented original papers in major scientific meetings in Australia, USA, and Asia.
