Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Roshan Shamon, an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist, with an interest in general and high-risk obstetrics, gynaecology, infertility, and minimal invasive surgery.
Having graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1998, Roshan completed his specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Monash Medical Centre, managing all stages of pregnancy from pre-pregnancy planning to birth and beyond. He is highly regarded by his patients for his excellent level of care and for his bed side manner.
In addition to his obstetric expertise, Roshan is an experienced gynaecologist with a special interest in minimal invasive surgical procedures. He was the first Australian surgeon to be trained in new generation transvaginal laparoscopy in France. He is also very dedicated to teaching and mentoring junior doctors and medical students.
Roshan also offers access to infertility services, including ovulation induction, intra uterine insemination, assisted reproduction with IVF and ICSI with City Fertility. He is committed to provide the patients with the state-of-the-art fertility treatment in a compassionate, confident, and supportive environment.
