Parminder has a special interest in young adult hip disease including femoro acetabular impingement, hip and knee replacements, key hole hip and knee surgery, implant development, research and education.

Waverley Private Hospital would like to welcome Dr Parminder Singh, a fully trained orthopaedic surgeon.

Parminder completed his five years orthopaedic training as a registrar at the prestigious Oxford orthopaedic training programme in the UK. He completed his fellowship training in high volume hip arthroscopy, hip, and knee replacement, including anterior minimally invasive hip replacement in Melbourne and London with Associate Professor John O’Donnell and Professor Richard Field, respectively. Parminder joined Hip Arthroscopy Australia in 2013.

Parminder has a special interest in young adult hip disease including femoral acetabular impingement, hip and knee replacements, keyhole hip and knee surgery, implant development, research, and education.

He is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer for Monash University and also teaches keyhole hip surgery courses in Melbourne and Sydney.

Parminder has provided supportive research to the design and developments of new hip replacements. He is currently an editor of the Oxford textbook of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery and has published numerous research papers, book chapters and is a reviewer for the British Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
